Mother and Daughter Sole Walk

Q: Do I have to be a runner to participate?
A: No! Walkers are more than welcome.

 

Q: How do I know if I can complete the 3 miles?
A: If you are able to walk for an hour you are likely covering the 3 mile distance and should be able to comfortably complete the race.

 

Q: Are baby joggers/strollers allowed?
A: Yes, but to ensure everyone’s safety they must start at the back of the race field and walk only during the event. Running or jogging while pushing a stroller is not allowed.

 

Q: Can I run with my dog?
A: Sorry, dogs are not allowed on the race course.

 

Q: Is there an age requirement?
A: No, My Mother has Sole Family Fun Run/Walk is open to all ages.

 

Q: Who can enter the race?
A: Any and everyone is welcome to participate in this run. Gather as many friends and family as you can.

 

Q: Where should I park?
A: Parking will be available in parking lots and area neighborhoods around the Inman Park area.

 

Q: Where can I store my personal belongings at the race?
A: There will not be a bag check or lockers. Please leave any valuables at home or locked in the trunk of your car.

 

Q: Can I register on the day of the race?
A: No. The last day to register is May 11 on our active.come website.

 

Q: How do I find out my finish time?
A: Results will be posted on race day afternoon. Check this web site for a link to results.

 

Q: Who benefits from this event?
A: Proceeds from the race will benefit Nicholas House homeless shelter. Please read about them in the “about us” section of our website.
